Weekly events begining Sunday 11th December weather mild Some Green ferns in woods look to be thriving in mider weather Crows seem more apparent in their groups undertaking group feeding behaviour in the pasture around the woodland at Judy. Solitary Magpies also are seen . Small Finches will be under pressure in colder days and in partuclar with the council removing the Hawthorn Hedgegrow from Royds Hall Lane.Small " Fat Balls " Seed in a "lard like " ball can be bought for 20 p or so and hung discretely on surrounding bushes and shrubs to give them a head start through winter until the first insects begin to fly with the early spring Plants
